Studio Assistant - Part-Time
Looking for a driven and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a studio assistant for our screen printing studio. The ideal candidate will have experience in screen printing and a passion for art and design. As a studio assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the screen printing process, from pre-press to production and quality control. Approximately 20 hours/week.
Responsibilities:
Assisting in pre-press preparation, including screen coating, and screen exposure
Assisting in post-job cleanup, such as screen cleaning and press maintenance
Mixing ink and preparing screens for production
Operating manual screen printing presses and other manufacturing equipment
Ensuring quality control of all printed garments
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Assisting with inventory and supply ordering
Assisting with taking photos and videos for social media in the studio
Occasionally assisting with coverage of retail storefront
Requirements:
Experience in screen printing and knowledge of the screen printing process preferred
Strong attention to detail and adherence to strict quality control standards
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Passion for art and design preferred
